Mary Ann Swenson, 92, of Garretson, died Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls. Memorial services were held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Highland Lutheran Church near Sherman. Inurnment with military honors followed at Highland Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Cyril Thier Jr., 80, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his residence in Worthington, Minn. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington, and one hour prior to memorial services. Memorial services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 29 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington, with Father Jordan Danielson officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
