Karin Elizabeth Reed Sagness, 79, died on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Avera McKennan Hospital. A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Sioux Falls. 
Mary Elizabeth Everist, 73, passed away surrounded by her family in March of 2025 at Amira Choice Senior Living in Minnetonka, Minn. Mary was a long-time resident of St. Paul, Minn., only recently moving to Amira Choice.
Patsy Ann (Olson) Terveer, of Brandon, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. Memorial services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2025, at Celebration United Methodist in Brandon. Interment will be in the Brandon Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, at the church. The family requests guests to the funeral and visitation wear Patsy’s favorite color – yellow. In lieu flowers, memorials may be directed to B-Squad Dog Rescue or Bethany Home in Brandon.
Daniel Joseph “Budd” Crowe, 64, of Sioux Falls, died Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Private services will be held.
Donna Marie Bertrand was born Dec. 18, 1934, to Harold Koehn and Elaine Schafer Koehn. She grew up in Avoca, Minn., and attended Slayton High School. She and Harold John Bertrand were married at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Avoca on Feb. 6, 1952. Shortly after marrying, Harold was drafted into the U.S. Army. Upon his return, they lived in rural Wilmont, Minn., where they farmed and raised their family. Being involved with children throughout her life brought Donna great joy. Because she was the oldest of nine children, Donna was a caretaker to her younger siblings and would often babysit other children in the area as well.
Eugene Robinson, 77, of Sioux Falls, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Symphony Pointe in Elkhorn, Neb. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 3, 2025, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls.
Joanne Shellum, 81, rural Trent, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Bethany Home in Brandon.
Robert Millar, 74, of Sioux Falls, died Monday, April 28, 2025, at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls. Graveside services with Military Honors were held Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls.
Madeline Geneva (Quissell) Hatlestad, 102, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. A memorial visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. Graveside services will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, May 9 at the Norway Lutheran Cemetery in rural Garretson. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. at East Side Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.
Willa Jean Johnson, 71, Garretson, died Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. A private family service will be held.
