Free throws make a difference. And in Brandon Valley’s AA state semifinal clash against top-seeded Aberdeen Central, free throws made a difference in the disappointing 44-43 outcome.
For a brief moment Thursday, the Lady Lynx got to celebrate their 50-41 win over the O’Gorman Knights in the AA state quarterfinals, and then it was back to work to prepare for Friday’s semifinal test against No. 1 seed, Aberdeen Central.

A trio of Brandon Valley wrestlers landed on the 2018 All-ESD Conference roster. Brothers Isaac and Creighton Klinkhammer and eighth-grader Damion Schunke represent the Lynx on the elite squad.
