Funeral services for Edith J. Lamp, 89, of Sioux Falls, were held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory in Sioux Falls. Mrs. Lamp died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at Ava’s Hospice House in Sioux Falls. She is survived by her children, Sherry (Ron) Larson of Brandon, Joyce Lamp-DeNeui of Sioux Falls, Donna (Bruce) Aljets of Brandon, Ben (Laurie) Lamp of Sioux Falls, Michelle (Bob) Barringer of Circle Pines, Min.; brothers, Vern Moulton of Sioux Falls, Richard Moulton of Conscohocken, Pa., Darrell Moulton of Sioux Falls, Arnie Moulton of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial for Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Hayes, 65, of Sioux Falls, was held Friday, March 2, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Cindy passed away in her home due to diabetes complications on Monday, Feb. 26. She is survived by her soulmate, Benjamin Contreras-Elias; brothers, Tom (Peggy) and Joe (Sheree) all of Sioux Falls; sisters, Bridget (Mike) Beck, Onawa, Iowa and Jackie Hayes of Brandon; and sister-in-law, Vicky Hayes of Sioux Falls.
Memorial services for Cheryl Gay Peterson, 74, Brandon, were held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Heartland Funeral Home in Brandon. Mrs. Peterson died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018.  Cheryl is survived by her children and grandchildren, Heidi and Jacob; Ben, April, Hunter and Harper; sisters, Lynel and Jane; nieces, nephews and many friends. 
Shirley M. Meyer, 89, of Ramona, died Friday, March 2, 2018, at the Madison Care and Rehab Center in Madison. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church in Madison. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. MST, Friday, March 9, 2018, at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis. Shirley Meyer was born March 14, 1928, at Riverton, Neb., to Paul and Mathilda (Henkel) Meyer. She attended school in Campbell, Neb., and graduated from Campbell High School in 1946. Shirley married Glen Meyer on June 10, 1951, in Campbell. The couple farmed near Salem until 1962 when they moved to a farm near Madison, and later near Ramona. In 1976, they moved into Ramona and Shirley was a housewife until the late 1980’s. Following Glen’s passing, Shirley started working at the Ramona school where she was employed for over 20 years.
Melba G. Johnson, 95, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society-Lutheran Manor in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 at Springdale Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.
