Paul Eric Krogstad, 67, Chamberlain, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, after a battle with pancreatic cancer
At Paul’s request there will be no funeral held but a Celebration of Life will be planned in Spring of 2027, with more information to come.

Gordon Eugene Beckstrom, 99, of Sioux Falls, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at the VA Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls.
A private family memorial service will be held with inurnment at the South Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery.
Dorothy Rae Bauske, 96, of Flandreau, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Riverview Healthcare Center in Flandreau. As per Dorothy’s wishes, no services will be held.
Nick Andrew Namanny, 76, of Sioux Falls, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Robert Euegene Van Roekel, 90, of Brandon, passed away peacefully at his home at Bethany Meadows in Brandon on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 21 at Community Reformed Church in Sioux Falls.
Laurel Ann Nelson was born on Oct. 4, 1938, in Tracy, Minn., to Ruben and Blanche (DeBlieck) Mickelson. She grew up near Tracy and attended Country School District #51, Murray County until the fifth grade she then transferred to Tracy Public School graduating in 1956. On Sept. 6, 1957, she and Clifford Nelson were married at the Willow Lake Lutheran Church in rural Currie, Minn. Following their marriage, they made their home and farmed near Lake Shetek where they raised their five children.
Peggy Paulson, 87, of Brandon, passed away at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026.
Montie Frederick Horn, 90, Sioux Falls, died Thursday, Sept.17, 2026, at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, after an extended battle with health issues.
Josyncia “CeCe” Lynn Hornbeck-Lush, 17, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026 in Brookings. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept.
Eleanor Joan DeBoer, 93, of Brandon, SD, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at Bethany Home in Brandon. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at Hope Cemetery in Hull, Iowa.
