Local students named to School of Mines Dean’s List
South Dakota Mines has honored 855 students in the fall 2025 semester for academic excellence. The university named 794 students to the Fall 2025 Dean’s List, including the following local students: Brandon – Matthew Beck, Logan Brakke, Ethan Carlson, Luke Higgins, Ava Johnson, Soraya Luschas, Thaddeus Malsam, Xavier McGuire, Tristan Niewenhuis, Adam Smook, Carter Smook, Ethan Thompson, Josey Wickersham; Garretson – Sage Solheim; Sioux Falls – Carter Peterson; Valley Springs – Luke Knebel Koster.
To earn Dean’s List distinction, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester and have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours for the term.

Augustana University is celebrating more than 1,000 students who have been named to the Dean’s List (3.5 GPA on 4.0 scale) for the 2025-26 fall semester.
