Warm clothing drive underway
Circuit Martial Arts & Fitness, Brandon, is collecting warm clothing now through Friday, Dec. 12. Donations of new or used clean coats, boots, gloves, hats, blankets, etc., may be dropped off at Circuit, 1124 E. Holly Blvd., Monday-Friday 3-6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 7 a.m.-noon.
BAFP annual dinner is Friday
Tickets are now on sale for the Brandon Area Food Pantry’s annual fundraiser dinner, which is Friday, Nov. 21 at the Brandon Golf Course. A cash bar opens at 6 p.m. and dinner is at 7, followed by a short program. Tickets are $45 per person or $360 for a table of eight.

Current needs at the Brandon Food Pantry
Current needs at the Brandon Food Pantry are canned chicken, pizza sauce and crust, mustard and ketchup, pancake mix and syrup, cake/brownie mix, peanut butter, pudding snack packs, shampoo, body wash, bar soap and laundry detergent.
To make appointments for pickups or donations, call 582-7001. The BAFP is open from 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Used eye glasses and hearing aids for the Brandon Lions Club may be dropped off at the BAFP, at Jones Family Eye Care and Lewis in Brandon.
Valley Springs Feather Party is Nov. 22
Valley Springs American Legion and Auxiliary will host their annual Feather Party on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Food will be served at 5 p.m. and games of bingo will be played from 6-10 p.m. for a chance to win a turkey or ham. The game of chance room opens at 6 p.m.
Brandon Farmers Market continues indoors
The Brandon Farmers Market has moved indoors to Faith United Church, 800 N. Splitrock Blvd., for the winter. The Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and is scheduled to be open Dec. 13 and 20 (holiday market plus Santa visit), Jan. 10, 2026, Feb. 14, 2026, March 14, 2026, and April 11, 2026.

Breakfast at Bethany
The next Breakfast at Bethany (3008 E. Aspen Blvd., Brandon) is 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12. A free will offering is taken, and proceeds go to the Bethany Foundation.
