Hawkins awarded degree from Georgia Tech

Max Hawkins of Renner, has earned a Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Hawkins was among approximately 7,200 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute’s 269th Commencement exercises Dec. 11-13, 2025, at McCamish Pavilion (Ph.D. and bachelor’s) and Bobby Dodd Stadium (master’s).VanderHam awarded

DWU scholarship

Alexis VanderHam, of Brandon, was awarded  the Randall Scholarship, which totals $100,000 over four years at Dakota Wesleyan’s Spring Scholarship Day on Feb. 20. To qualify for this scholarship, students must have at least a 3.5 GPA and must meet certain leadership/service qualifications.

VanderHam is the daughter of Jeremy and Barb VanderHam.
