BV cheer, dance teams compete at Yankton

The Brandon Valley competitive dance team took fourth at the Yankton Invitational Sept. 7. BV also took fourth place in the kick division and fourth in pom.
Dakota Valley captired first place overall, followed by Harrisburg and Sioux Falls Washington.
In the kick division, first place went to Dakota Valley. Sioux Falls Lincoln took second, and Harrisburg placed third.
In the pom division, Dakota Valley earned first place, followed by Harrisburg with second and Yankton with third.
The Lady Lynx competitive cheer team placed second at the Yankton Invite.
Sioux Falls O’Gorman earned first place. Third went to Sioux Falls Washington, followed by Brookings with fourth place.
The BV cheer and dance teams next competes at the Brookings Inviational, which gets underway at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.
