BV VB ‘serves up’ record donation to Cure Kids Cancer

For the 11th year in a row, Brandon Valley raised funds to cure cancer, and they did it in a record-setting way. Sanford Cure Kids Cancer is the recipient of $4,232.76, which was raised through Just Cure It t-shirt sales and donations received at a home football game and volleyball game. Presenting the check are Lady Lynx seniors Jersie Melcher (from left), Kennedi Boomsma, Ashley Ertelt, Logan Torgrude and Mya VanWesten. Accepting the check on behalf of Sanford Cure Kids Cancer was Brandon resident, Wendy Jensen (not pictured).
