Supe's On: ‘Together’ is The Lynx Way

Together.

A few observations from proudly watching our Lynx battle on the court and represent our school district during this past weekend: Heart & character, staff support, cherished memories, and unity.

The Heart & Character of our Lynx girls’ basketball team was on full display in Rapid City for the SDHSAA AA Girls Basketball Tournament. These young ladies are amazing on and off the court and represent our community in tremendous fashion. We are so fortunate to have been able to join them on this season’s journey. Speaking of journeys, I want to thank the BVSD staff that made the trip west to support our students and colleagues. These are the types of things that are foundational to BV’s success.

Undoubtedly, there were many special moments. The image of Coach Deckert hoisting the net on the jumbotron was powerful. But experiencing our entire student body singing (and standing!) the Brandon Valley High School song after the semifinal contest, is one of my favorites – ALL-TIME!

Great job – Go Lynx!
