BV boys nip Yankton in week 12 bowling action

The Lynx boys squeaked out a 26-24 win over the Yankton Bucks last week, while the varsity girls were overwhelmed by the Gazelles, 43-5-6.5

In JV action, Brandon Valley boys defeated Yankton 27-23 and the girls swept the Gazelles, 50-0.

Splitrock Ladies League

Results from Feb. 10, : High Team Game & Series, Garretson, Ins., 851 & 2,486; High Individual Game, Shari Petri, 192, which was 58 pins over her average; High Individual Series, Jan Fonder, 472.

Barb Caffrey picked up the 9-10 split; Shari Petri picked up the 3-10 split; and Marcia Bork picked up the 5-6 split.

Shari Petri and Kathie Franz each had one turkey.
