The Splitrock Ladies bowled on Feb. 6. Following are the results: High Team Game & Series, Rock River Ag, LLC, 857 & 2,565; High Individual Game & Series, Jill Reindl, an errorless 197 & 514.

Barb Caffrey picked up the 5-6 & 3-10 splits; Cheryl Scholl picked up the 2-7 split; and Marcia Bork picked up the 4-10 split.

Results from Feb. 13 are as follows: High Team Game & Series, Garretson Ins., 870 & 2,479; High Individual Game, Bonnie Kramer, 181, and Cheryl Scholl, an errorless 179; High Individual Series, Jill Reindl, 478.

Lois Leslie picked up the 2-7 split and bowled 59 pins over her average with a 176.

Marcia Ryken picked up the 3-10 split and Diane Fueston took down the 5-6 split.

Bike, outdoor gear swap planned for April 6

Falls Area SingleTrack (FAST) has scheduled their 2024 Bike and Outdoor Gear Swap from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Great Bear Ski Lodge.

A limited number of table rentals are available at $30 each. A bike corral will also be available for $10.

Bikes, skis, snowboards and those wanting to sell their gently-used outdoor gear are welcome.

FAST will be accepting free-will donations for entry. All proceeds will benefit the building and maintenance of trails in the Sioux Falls area.

DWU names new athletic

director, other positions

Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchll has hired Ross Cimpl as the University’s new Director of Athletics. Cimpl was appointed interim director in November.

Jason Christensen, head women’s basketball coach, will serve a dual rol as coach and in a newly created position, Associate Director of Athetics, responsible for facilities and fundraising.

Football offensive coordinator Alex Kretzschmar has been appointed as the new head football coach of the Tigers.
