Carol Cope, 84

Carol Lea Cope, 84, of Brandon, died Monday, July 24, 2023, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, surrounded by her three daughters and her sister.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, also at Heartland Funeral Home in Brandon. Interment followed at the Canton Lutheran Cemetery, Canton.

Carol is survived by her three daughters, Tami (Kevin) Goembel, Worthing, Kris (Kevin) Mielke, Canton, and Wendy (Jim) Metzger, Brandon; six grandchildren, Dallas (Erica) Goembel, Dani (Nate) Finney, Matthew Mielke, Ryan Mielke, Kaycee Metzger (fiancée Josh Price) and Kenzie Metzger (fiancée Jordan Ide); and five great-grandchildren, Thomas, Samuel, Brynn, Bennet and Kolsen.
