Verla Heeren, 79

Verla L. Heeren, 79, of Sioux Falls, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services were held Oct. 26, 2017, at Trinity Baptist Church, Sioux Falls, with burial at the Chancellor Baptist Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband Duane; three children, Colleen Jacobson of Sioux Falls and her daughter, Christine (Jack) Hicks and Erza, St. Paul, Minn.; Susan Reese of Hartford and son, Liam; and Clayton Heeren of Sioux Falls and daughter, Chelsea (Michael) Redinger, of Brandon, son Micah (Anna) Heeren and Ellis and Sawyer, Mitchell, and daughter, Savannah Heeren, Sioux Falls; and the Otten sisters, Viola Buseman, Marion, Doris Fett, Tea, Dorothy Buscarello, Denver, Colo., and Karen Hofer, Sioux Falls. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mildred; brother, Eldon; son-in-law, Randy Reese; and a daughter-in-law, Kris Heeren.
