Trio of Lady Lynx land all-state cheer, dance honors

On the heels of capturing their second consecutive AA competitive cheer title, the good news keeps coming for the Lady Lynx program. Seniors Shanley Zahn and Courtney Martens, along with senior competitive dance team captain Hailey Stengel, were named to their respective inaugural All-State Teams.
Zahn and Martens are two of 13 honorees named to the elite squad, which was decided by voting membership of the South Dakota Cheerleading Coaches Association.
Stengel, who helped to guide Brandon Valley’s competitive dance team to its second consecutive state runner-up finish, is one of 11 selected to the All-State Dance Team.
The All-State Dance Team also determined by a vote members of the South Dakota Dance Coaches Association.
