Tammy DenHerder, 65

Tammy Sue DenHerder, 65, of Valley Springs, died Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, after a short battle with lung cancer.

A Celebration of Life open house and memorial services were held Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Heartland Funeral Home, Brandon. 

Tammy is survived by her two daughters, Loraea (Randy) Krull, Beaver Creek, Minn., and Larissa (Jordan) Walker, Sioux Falls; five granddaughters, Alyssa, Tamie Kay, Rilynn, and Gracie Krull, and Aurora Walker; two brothers, Tim and Troy DenHerder, both of Valley Springs; two nieces, Sadie DenHerder Elsberry and Sony Swanson, both of Garretson; along with many other friends and family members.
