Chamber’s Cha-Ching raffle drawings start today
The prize drawings for the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce’s Cha-Ching Raffle begins today, Wednesday, April 1, and continues each weekday through April 30, which tops out with the $5,000 cash grand prize drawing.
Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.

Nominate a BV Teacher, Employee of the Year
Brandon Valley School District and First National Bank have once again partnered to recognize the Brandon Valley Teacher of the Year for the 2025-26 school year. Parents, students, and staff are encouraged to nominate a BV teacher for this honor.
BVSD is also partnering with Brandon Ace Hardware to recognize a Classified Employee of the Year. Classified employees include the following departments: Administrative Assistants / Office Staff, Child Nutrition Services, Custodians, Educational Assistants, Grounds, Information Technology, Nursing, and Transportation employees.
Nomination forms can be picked up at any school office or the BV Administration Center. Forms can also be printed from each school’s website.
Nomination forms are due to the BVSD Administration Center, 300 S. Splitrock Blvd., no later than Monday, April 6.

60th Brandon Loyalty Day Parade on horizon
Plans are underway for the 60th annual Brandon Loyalty Day Parade, which steps off at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 3.
Following tradition, parade lineup begins at 11 a.m. in the Brandon Valley High School parking lot. Entries are asked to use the south entrance to the parking lot. There is no entry fee, but donations of non-perishable items for the Brandon Area Food Pantry are requested.
Brandon Food Pantry list has new needs
Current needs at the Brandon Food Pantry Rice-a-Roni, pizza crust mixes, mustard, small boxes of fruit snacks, bottled Ranch dressing, bottled salad dressings and deodorant.
To make appointments for pickups or donations, call 582-7001. The BAFP is open from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
