Supe's On: Spring brings whirlwind of activities to BV

From fine arts to athletics and everything in between, Spring is prime-time activity time! 

Spring activities are in full swing and offer our patrons a tremendous number of opportunities to support our students, all while enjoying the entertainment that activities provide. Annual Spring highlights include the BV District Fine Art’s Night and 5-12 District Band Concert. These events draw huge crowds of Lynx families from all of our schools, as we unite in celebration of the arts. With the BVHS musical set to take the stage the weekend of April 24 and several athletic events scheduled, there are ample opportunities to get out and support our student-participants and enjoy the entertainment that school activities offer.

With the additional pedestrian and bicycle traffic in and around our communities this Spring, it is critical that school and park zone traffic safety is our top priority. Please slow-down, stay alert, and be aware of your surroundings. In addition, distracted driving continues to be a growing societal concern, and we must reinforce the importance of not texting and driving to our young drivers. 

Together, we promote pedestrian and bicycle safety within our communities.
