Supe's On: Community partnerships offer unique opportunities
I was once told there are two seasons in South Dakota – winter and road construction. Undoubtedly, we have moved into road construction season. We greatly appreciate our parents and guardians understanding and patience as we navigate the road construction this Spring, and any associated impacts to travel and bus route timing.
It is critical that motorists are attentive and exercise extreme caution when in school zones. For our children’s safety, please slow down, take your time, and observe all traffic laws and signage. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation in helping keep our kids safe.
April 7-11 is South Dakota Week of Work. This week is set aside as a time to highlight employment opportunities within our communities and across the state. Brandon Valley Schools work throughout the year to participate in activities such as career fairs, industry tours, and job shadows, in addition to our growing Internship Program at Brandon Valley High School. We would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to all our local community business partners that have provided students with work-based learning opportunities throughout the course of the year. Our partnerships within our school district community have provided valuable opportunities for students to grow and develop work-based skills. Together, we promote opportunities for students!
