Sundall joins BV Journal editorial staff

Alison Sundall has joined the Brandon Valley Journal as a staff writer-photographer. Originally from southeast South Dakota, Sundall and her family have lived in the Brandon area for five years. 

After graduating from the University of South Dakota, she began her career with a weekly newspaper group based in Beresford. Over the years, Sundall has also spent time working for various nonprofits. 

Alison and her husband, Torrey, have three children, Sophia, a senior at the University of South Dakota, Easton, a Brandon Valley High School freshman and Griffynn, a Brandon Valley Middle School seventh grader. 

When she is not on the sidelines of one of her children’s sporting events, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, cheering for the University Coyotes and spoiling the family mini golden doodle, Red.
