Sandra L. Aichele, 86, formerly of Valley Springs, died Monday, April 27, 2026, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 2, at Miller Funeral Home. Burial was in the Brandon Lutheran Cemetery in Brandon.

She is survived by her children, Emma (Rob) Haight of Brandon, Ursula O’Donnell of Chase, Kan., Vivian (Merlin) Selland of Larchwood, Iowa, Amy (Kevin) Sherman of Brandon, and Charles (Maia) Aichele of Monument, Colo.; 18 grandchildren and over 20 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
