Robert Blue, 91

Robert Blue, 91, of Lead, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at Ava’s House hospice in Sioux Falls from kidney failure. His wife Barbara passed away at the end of December from a serious fall. They had recently relocated from Terry Peak to Sioux Falls and were living at Touchmark at All Saints.

He is survived by his son, Dan (Becky) of Sioux Falls, and their children, Ian (Paige), Julia (Luke Thompson), Elliot (Kara), and Mason (Ellie); son, David (Darla) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and their children, Jami Mark (Travis), Colten and Troyer, and Jeni Moede (Adam), Brooklyn and Madison.

Visitation with family present was held Tuesday, Jan. 23 at Miller Funeral Home in downtown Sioux Falls. Burial service followed at Woodlawn Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life Memorial for both Bob and Barb is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Lead. The service will also be streamed on the Miller Funeral Home website viat YouTube.
