A new road soon leads to Aspen Park

Site Works, Inc., continues work on the long-awaited Ironwood Street extention project. The company’s bid of $1,170,966.55 came in well below the $1.8 million estimate, and was one of 11 bids the city receiv ed for the project. Work began in late June and should be wrapped up next month, barring weather. Extending Ironwood Street provides a second entrance/exit to/from Aspen Park, which continues to expand with recreational opportunities for the community. This fall, a parking lot will be constructed between the pool and tennis courts at the park.
