Funeral services for Meta M. Fick, 96, of Luverne, Minn., were held Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Luverne. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery in Luverne.

Mrs. Fick died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at the Sanford Luverne Hospice Cottage.

She is survived by nine children, Loren (Shirley) Fick of Luverne, Anita (Bill) Chiaramonte of Cincinnati, Ohio, Margaret Albrecht of Peoria, Ill., Norma (Randy) Goetz of Satellite Beach, Fla., David (Darlene) Fick of Valley Springs, Betty (Daniel) Werth of Buffalo Lake, Minn., Ronald (Elaine) Fick of Luverne, Krista (Harlan) Kroon of Rock Rapids, Iowa, and James (Renee) Fick of Brandon; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Hilda Uilk of Pipestone, Minn., Alvin Winter of Whitesboro, Texas, Ruben Winter of Sheldon, Iowa, Luella Loges and Norven Winte, both of Boyden; sister-in-law, Florence Fick of Beaver Creek, Minn.; and many other relatives.
