Mary Elizabeth Everist, 73

Mary Elizabeth Everist, 73, passed away surrounded by her family in March of 2025 at Amira Choice Senior Living in Minnetonka, Minn. Mary was a long-time resident of St. Paul, Minn., only recently moving to Amira Choice.

There will be a celebration of life later this summer in St. Paul, Minn., and a private family interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Sioux Falls.

She is survived by her brother, John (Nancy) Everist, of Brandon; sister, Nancy Everist, of Sioux Falls; nephews, Noah (Michelle) Everist. Edina, Minn., and Evan Everist (Katie) of Minnetonka, Minn.; grandnieces, Charlotte, Lucia and Thora; grandnephew; Finn, many cousins; and special friends, Tom Deutsch, of St. Paul, Minn.; and Pixie, her intrepid cat of many lives, now residing in Ely, Minn.
