Marlys E. Aartun, 80, of Colton, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Dells Nursing and Rehab in Dell Rapids. Private funeral service was held on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at the Minnehaha Funeral Chapel in Colton. Interment was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Colton.

Marlys is survived by her daughters, Cheri Aartun of Colton, Jill (Dean) Simon of Brandon, and Ruth (Eric) Raveling of Pierre, SD; grandson, Colin Simon of Brandon; and other extended family members.
