The Marching Lynx put on one of their best shows of the season Oct. 7, earning top honors in class AAA (field) and third place overall in the Sioux Falls Festival of Bands.
“The students had the performance of a lifetime on Saturday night,” said Brandon Valley band director Chris Borchardt.
“The emotion that they felt coming off the field was truly something special. It is something they will remember for many years to come and is the reason that most of them participate in this activity. When 150 students commit to performing together, some amazing things can happen! I’m so proud of them.”
