BV Football Moms Night is Aug. 4
Moms, guardians, grandmothers and aunts will have a fun opportunity to learn more about football at the BV Football Moms Night beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4.
Participants will learn more about the game, execute actual plays run by the BV varsity, be educated by BV coaching staff and experienced football moms on the positions, the calls, flags, rules, results, etc. Participants should dress for some active – though not extensive – movement. Pigskin Golf Tourney registration closes Aug. 6
Registrations are being taken thorugh Saturday, Aug. 6 for the Pigskin Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Brandon Golf Course. The four-person scramble tees off at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $100 per player and includes golf, cart, and lunch. A $20 player card is optional and includes two mulligans, moving up on two holes, 3 putts in putting contest and raffle ticket. Register online at brandonvalley.k12.sd.us/boosterclub.
Register now for Pigskin Classic Cheer Camp
Registrations are now being accepted for the Pigskin Classic Cheer Camp on Saturday, Aug. 27. The camp is open to kids in grades K-8. Early bird fee is $25 and $30 if paid after Aug. 16. Check-in is from 9-9:30 a.m,. and the camp runs from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The cheer campers will also perform prior to kickoff of the Pigskin Classic football game at 6:30 p.m.
Campers should wear sunscreen, tennis shoes, comfy clothes, have their hair up and bring a water bottle.

Pigskin Classic 5K Fun Run/Walk is Aug. 27
The Brandon Valley Pigskin Classic 5K Fun Run and Walk will be held Saturday, Aug. 27. To register ahead of time, visit bvlynx.sportngin.com/register/who/060242353 or register day of the race between 6:30-7 a.m. The race steps off at 7 a.m. from the Brandon Valley High School football field.
Entry fee is $20 and the registration deadline is Aug. 24. Pigskin Classic t-shirts are guaranteed for all who pre-register.
Money raised benefits BV athletes by funding scholarships, snacks and meals, wish list equipment and improvements.
