Splitrock Ladies Bowling League results
The Splitrock Ladies bowled on Sept. 30, with the following results: High Team Game & Series, JSA Engineers/Land Surveyors, 849 and 2,416. High Individual Game , Charlene Lowe, 168. High Individual Series , Marcia Ryken, 448.
Marcia Ryken picked up the 2-7-8 split; Barb Caffrey picked up the 3-7-8 split; Jill Reindl picked up the 3-7-10 split and had two turkeys; Holly Mulder picked up the 3-10 split; Cheryl Scholl picked up the 2-7 split; andBrenda Jones had one turkey.
S.D. Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Banquet tickets available
Tickets for the 2025 South Dakota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame banquet are available.
The banquet is set for Sunday, Nov. 2 at the new city Hall in Salem.
The Hall of Fame class includes former players Doug Schooley of Watertown, Freddy Ellis of Mitchell, Nate Henry of Dell Rapids, Lee Heimes of Wynot, Neb., and the late Mike Hiltunen of Volga.
In addition, South Dakota Umpires Association Hall of fame inductee Brad Peters of Hartford and honorary inductee Dr. Tom Stotz of Yankton will be recognized.
The banquet begins with a social at 4 p.m., dinner at 5 p.m. and then the ceremony.
