Splitrock Ladies League results

The Splitrock Ladies rolled their final game of the season on April 15. Here at the results: High Team Game and Series, JSA/Engineers/Land Surveyors, 934 and 2,623; High Individual Game & Series, Bonnie Kramer,191 and 507.

Rhonda Baker and Gail Truedeau both picked up the 3-10 split; Pat Paulsen picked up the 5-8-10 and 5-10 splits; and Holly Mulder picked up the 7-8 split.

L.O.L. (Ladies of Leisure) were the second-half winners. There will be a roll-off between Alliance Communications and L.O.L. on April 22.

The Splitrock Ladies bowled on April 8, with the following results: High Team Game and Series, Steve’s Electric, 854 & 2,552; High Individual Game and Series, Kathie Franz, 191, which was errorless, and 491.

Julaine Walker and Pat Paulsen both picked up the 5-7 split. Kathy Franz and Sharon Small picked up the 3-10 split.

BV IceCats land season-end awards

Caleb Poncelet and Gavin Stone, both members of the BV IceCats varsity hockey program, were presented the 2024-25 SDAHA Sanderson Academic Award.

Stone also received the prestigious Hobey Baker Award, which reflects character, commitment, persistence, academic excellence and sportsmanship.
