Dixon breaks her own college meet record

South Dakota State’s Brielle Dixon, set a meet record 8.19 in the 60m hurdle preliminaries on Friday, Feb. 28 at the Summit League indoor championships. But that feat wasn’t where it ended for the former Brandon Valley Lynx. Dixon lowered her meet record the next day, taking the event in a meet record time of 8.16.

 

Splitrock Ladies League weekly results

Results from the March 11 Splitrock Ladies Bowling League are as follows: High Team Game, LOL. 887; High Team Series, Jesse James, 2,546; High Individual Game, Sharon Small, 200, which was 55 pins over her average; High Individual Series, Cheryl Scholl, 517.

Gwynne Anderson picked up the 6-7-10 split; Renee Nelson and Connie Saathoff both picked up the 3-10 split; Marie Cissell picked up the 2-6-7-9 split; Sue Polly picked up the 7-9-10 & 8-9-10 splits; Shari Petri picked up the 4-10 split;

The Splitrock Ladies bowled on March 4 with the following results: High Team Game & Series - Rock River Ag, LLC, 885 and 2,549; High Individual Game & Series, Dee Polreis, 211, and an errorless 206 game and 606 series.

Diane Fueston picked up the 4-5-7 split; Marlene Blum picked up the 4-5 split, and also bowled 51 pins over average of 155; Ann Behrend picked up the 5-10 split ; Amy Caldwell and Sue Polly both picked up the 4-5 split; Shari Petri picked up the 2-10 split; Marcia Bork picked up the 5-6 split; Barb Risty picked up the 5-8-10 split; Cheryl Scholl picked up the 5-7 split; and Kathy Franz bowled 54 pins over average with a 196.

JSA Engineers/Land Surveyors posted the high team game and series during the Splitrock Ladies Bowling League on Feb. 25. The team roll a combined 896 high game and 2,578 series.

Charlene Lowe turned in the high individual game and series. She penciled an errorless 200 game, which was 70 pins over her average, and 477 series.

Marlene Blum picked up the 3-6-7-10 split; Amanda Lumpkin and Dee Polreis both picked up the 3-10 split; Marcia Ryken picked up the 2-7 split; Gail Trudeau picked up the 4-5 split.

Renee Nelson bowled a 181, which was 53 pins over her average.
