Sixteen BVHS students selected to All-State Band

Sixteen Brandon Valley High School students have been selected to the 2025 All-State Band.

For three of the 16 student-musicians, this year’s selection marks their fourth year. The four-year All-State Band members are Lillian Dirksen, Mazzi Moore, Sadee Webster. Ironically, they all play the clarinet.

Also selected to the elite band program are Tabitha Choate, Andrew Fode, Isaac Fode, Riley Gerritsen, Isaac Josephsen, Ella McCarthy, Will McCarthy, Ryley McKeown, Julia Mumm, Austin Preheim, Dante Tooley, Keith Travis, and Kylie Wennblom.

Larsen earns dean’s list honors at

University of Tampa

Straton Larsen, of Brandon, earned dean’s list honors at University of Tampa for the Fall 2024 semester. Larsen is a freshman majoring in Finance BS. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean’s list.
