Letters to the Editor - Thompson: In love with our town!

My husband and I moved to Brandon almost three years ago, with expectations of a small town, get-to-know-your-neighbor, support all things local feeling.
What we did not expect, what we didn’t realize we would feel, happened Saturday night at the Ed Polzine Wild Game Feed.

On a whim, we decided it would be a ‘nice’ thing to do.We fell in love with our town!

In a very crowded VFW Hall, people were friendly, respectful, welcoming and generous. The cause, the reason for this gathering showed incredible support within our community. Recognizing a specific need in Brandon aligns perfectly with what we feel are some of the core values here.
We are still wrapping our heads around all the efforts of so many citizens to put this event together. Amazing!
We appreciate you, Brandon, and are very proud to call you our home!
