Letter to the Editor: Kribell: Please make the choice for Life

Wow! I didn’t, ever, foresee this happening … me writing a letter to the editor.

Forty-one years ago, I was an unwed, pregnant college student facing a life-changing decision.

Today I’m writing the letter to the editor, respectfully asking (begging) you to vote NO on Amendment G. I love South Dakota and our way of life. It is a wonderful place to live. I would like to keep that way.

America, and South Dakota, has a rich history of promoting life. Part of our Declaration of Independence beautifully states:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. It all starts with LIFE.

We make choices every day. Sometimes our life forces us to make hard choices, Please make the choice for Life.

Amendment G, in my humble opinion, is NOT the best choice for us, for our children, or for South Dakota.

Please Vote NO on Amendment G.
