Letter to the Editor: Hansen: Aspen Park issue to be decided by city voters

A very big thank you to all who supported the issue of a second entrance at Aspen Park. This decision will be put to a public vote in April 2025 and the taxpayers will decide where their money should be used. 

There were times I questioned whether doing the petition was the right thing to do. However, the more people I spoke to, the more it became clear this was an issue taxpayers felt strongly about. 

I would especially like to thank those of you who circulated petitions with me, and there were many! This issue would not have made it to the ballot without you. I would also like to thank all of you who spread the word in person, via social media, text, etc. Now, we need to get out and vote in April 2025!
