Karen R. Mammenga, 88

Karen R. Mammenga, 88, of Sioux Falls, died Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Bethany Meadows in Brandon. Her Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Huron.  

She is survived by her husband, Jerald Mammenga of Brandon; children, Pamela (Bryan) Hedman of Brandon, Mark (Patty) Haigh of Sioux Falls, and Lisa (Chris) Cleland, Marion, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) Mehlhaf, Elizabeth (Chase) Hart, Andrew (Katie) Hedman, Eric (Lexi) Haigh, Tyler (Jena) Haigh, Katie (Jacob) Christensen, Emily (Zach) McDonald, Jacob (Stephanie) Cleland, and John (Ande) Hedman; 20 great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Michelle (Dave) Smith of Harrisburg, Gail (Brent) Sheets, Iowa City, Iowa, and Gwen (John) Larson of Wentworth; sisters, Jeannette Tschetter of Sioux Falls Cheryl Zell of Hartford and Judy Martin of Rapid City, and a host of other relatives and friends.
