Joyce Anderson, 97

Joyce Gwendolyn Anderson, 97, of Valley Springs, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2024. Her Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at Beaver Valley Lutheran Church, rural Valley Springs. The family will be present to greet relatives and friends an hour before the service at the church

Joyce is survived by three sons, Arlen Anderson (Cathie) of Sioux Falls, Doug Anderson of Valley Springs, and Craig (Trish) Anderson of Clovis, Calif.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Dick Olson of Brandon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Edna (Walstrom) Olson; her husband, Leland Dean Anderson; sister, Leaine Rollag; five brothers, Vernon, Robert, Virgil, Dean, and Quentin.
