Joanne “Jo” Beacom, 89, of Sioux Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023 from the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 at St. Lambert Catholic Church in Sioux Falls, with burial at St. Michael Cemetery in Sioux Falls. 

She is survived by her children, Jeannie (Charlie) Schneider, Brandon; daughter-in-law, Ann Roemen, Sioux Falls; Connie (Jim) Ross, Whitewood, Miles Kelly (Lisa) Beacom, Susan (Thomas) Underberg, and Stephen (Stacey) Beacom, all of Sioux Falls; 20 grandchildren, Amy Schneider, Becci Gjoraas, Nick (Kris) Schneider, Andy (Stephanie) Schnieder, Casey Schneider, Jordan Beacom, Jonah Beacom, Hannah (fiancé, Jake Rice) Beacom; Stacey (Dane) Sundstrom, Tania Ross, Jesse (Deidre) Ross, Josh (Erin Burke) Ross, Alyssa Beacom, Erin (fiancé, Allen Page) Beacom, Ashlee (Noora) Beacom; Iman Legesse, Nathan (Brooke) Underberg, Christopher (Megan) Beacom, Cody Beacom and Caitlin Beacom; 28 great-grandchildren;two great-great grandchildren; bestfriends, Jan Reischl and Pat Townsend; many other relatives and friends.
