A Homestead Brew to host July 19 Farm to Brew event
VALLEY SPRINGS - Soil Regen and the Minnesota Soil Health Coalition will host a day-long Farm to Brew SD event designed to bridge the gap between sustainable agriculture and craft brewing. This free event is scheduled from10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, July 19, at A Homestead Brew, rural Valley Springs.
Farm to Brew SD aims to foster connections between farmers, soil health advocates, and beer enthusiasts while highlighting the integral relationship between sustainable farming practices and quality craft beer production.
While the event is free, registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
Featured speakers include ag experts Seth Watkins, Jolene Carlson, and John Strohfus, and brewer Lee Anderson, who will share insights on soil health, sustainable farming techniques, and craft beer.
Attendees will enjoy craft beer tastings from A Homestead Brew, complimentary food from Backyard BBQ Food Truck, live music by Almost Iowa Band from 3-6 p.m., and networking with industry professionals and enthusiasts
