Friday is final day to order Hometown Hero banners

Friday, Aug. 21 is the deadline to order banners.

Valley Springs American Legion Post 131 in cooperation with the Ed Polzine Fund have launched this program as a living tribute for the community to honor past and present members of the Armed Forces. Clear photos must be provided and will be returned. Digital photos are also welcomed. The cost of each banner is $150 with the Ed Polzine Fund providing the banner brackets. Checks should be made payable to Ed Polzine Fund.

Banner applications may be submitted to: Charles R. Doman Post 131, PO Box 189, Valley Springs, or emailed to ricksfsd@gmail.com, or brought to the BV Journal, 1404 E. Cedar Street, Brandon, mailed to PO Box 842, Brandon or emailed to editor@bvjournal.info.
