Feeling the electricity

Sioux Valley Energy hosted one of their 10 District membership meetings on March 24 at Brandon Valley High School, where an estimated 1,500 members enjoyed a meal, compliments of the cooperative. At 7 p.m., the District 6 business meeting moved into the auxiliary gym, where directors and SVE general manager/CEO Tim McCarthy reported on the current conditions of the member-owned cooperative and provided insight into what’s to come in 2026 and beyond. SVE also gifted patrons who attended the meeting a $25 credit on their April bill.
