Eric Beiningen, 58
Eric LeRoy Beiningen, 58, of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away at Banner Del Web Hospital in Surprise, Ariz., on Oct. 25, 2023.
Eric graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 1983. He attended Boys’ State, participating in Journalism City. After graduation, he spent 2½ years at Fairview Hospital in Downtown Minneapolis due to health needs.
Eric married Carmen Rodriguez at Brandon Lutheran Church on Jan. 18, 1986. They moved to Aberdeen, S.D., and attended Northern State University. He received many honors scholastically in speech and oratory. After graduating from NSU, he received an assistantship at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. While at UNL, he obtained a Master’s degree in Education. Eric and Carmen next moved to Tempe, Ariz. Eric graduated from Arizona State University School of Law where he excelled scholastically and in oratory.
After gaining his law degree, the couple moved to Las Vegas, Nev., where he worked as a civil lawyer for Clark County. Eric was given an award from the Governor for his outstanding service working with Autistic and special education students in the school system.
Eric left Clark County and accepted a position in the Public Defender’s Office for Mohave County, Ariz. He held this position until ill health forced him to retire.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Carmen Beiningen; his mother, Bonnie Beiningen; sister, Pam (Jeff) Eitreim; five nephews and one niece, Ben, Tom (Kami), Dan Eitreim, Josh, Adam, and Katie Beiningen.
He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Beiningen, brother, Steve Beiningen, and his grandparents.
