Donald Steineke, 86

Donald F. Steineke, 86, of Hartford, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral mass was held Friday, Feb. 7, 2025 at St. George Catholic Church in Hartford.  

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Terry Steineke, of Sioux Falls, Deb St. Clair of Brandon and Crystal (Jerrid) Lawrence of Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren, Levi, Dylan (Haley), Jordan (Brookelyn), DJ, Dakotah (Amber), Tanner and Shaylee; three great-grandchildren, Leigha, Savvy and Addy; honorary daughter, Camille (Mark) Hinrickson; brothers, Melvin “Dick” (Joanne) Steineke and Gary (Laura) Steineke; sisters-in-law, Penny Steineke and Marlyn Steineke; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
