Dean Minter, 89, of Okoboji, Iowa, died Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, Iowa. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake, Iowa. 

Dean is survived by his wife Edda Minter, Okoboji; daughter, Paula (Dave) Lazarus, Marritta, Calif.; sons, Corey (Deb) Minter, Carmicheal, Calif., and Eric Minter, Bozeman, Mont.; step son, Scott (Linda) Carstensen, Hartley, Iowa; step daughter, Carrie (Dan) Grapevine, Brandon; step son, Steve (Tammie) Carstensen, Lincoln, Neb.; sisters, Joan Williams, International Falls, Minn., and Jane Drynan, Port Orange, Fla.; brother, John (Sue) Minter, Mt. Iron, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
