Darrel Johnson, 55

Darrel Johnson, 55, of Freeman, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls after a short illness. A Celebration of Life will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Freeman Senior Citizen Center.

Darrel is survived by his mother, Barbara Johnson, Freeman; twin sister, Sheryl (Grant) Bakke, Brandon; children, Andy Johnson and his partner, Angel Donovan,Yankton, and Ally Bittner, Freeman; nieces, Sarah Johnson, Brandon, and Heather Johnson, Sioux Falls; nephew, Alexander (Shannon) Ask, St. Paul, Minn.; great-nephew, Aven Helm, Sioux Falls;many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
