Danny Joe Deutsch, 69, of Kanaranzi, Minn., died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, unexpectedly at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Luverne. Interment was in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ellsworth, Minn.

Danny is survived by his wife, Victoria Deutsch, Kanaranzi; children, Colter (Codie) Deutsch. Steen, Minn., and Amanda (Ryan) Walker, Luverne, Minn.; grandchildren, Emma (special friend, Karsen), Andrew, and Jacob Deutsch, and Mackenzie, Elizabeth, and Landon Walker; siblings, Randy (Carla) Deutsch, Cathy Deutsch, Jeffrey (Laurie) Deutsch, Gary (Brenda) Deutsch, Mary (Daryl) Kramer, and Sally Lloyd; aunts and uncles, William Deutsch, John (Trudy) Deutsch, Donna Deutsch, Betty Deutsch, Clifford (Sharon) Schilling, Marjorie DeBerg, Marlene (Martin) Laverman, Georgia May Sterler, and Faye DeBoer; and two bonus children, Jeffery (fiancé Tori) Cauwels, and Kristina (special friend, Tanner) Cauwels.
