Dale Roger Dykes, 81, of Alexandria, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at Dougherty Hospice in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 at the Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem. Family will be present one hour prior to the service to greet guests.

He is survived by his children, Marsha (Phil) Schulz and Kevin Dykes, all of Mitchell Michael (Susan) Dykes of Brandon, and Kristi (Brian) Delahoyde of Spearfish; grandchildren, Kyle and Ashley Schulz, Ryan and Chelsie Schulz, Collin and Lexie Schulz, James and Kayla Dykes, Diane Dykes, Adam Dykes, Kaylene Delahoyde and Brayden Delahoyde; great-grandchildren, Sierra Thielsen, Harlee Schulz, Lane Schulz, Mazie Schulz, Milez Schulz, Metz Schulz, Hunter Schulz, Charlotte Schulz and Emerson Dykes; siblings, Virjean Hadrick, Glenda Stephenson, and Daniel (Vickie) Dykes; in-laws, Carol and Loren Tschetter, Patricia and Marvin Buller and Sandra and Lee Kaufman.
