Brandon Valley High School’s drama department is bringing back a popular show, “A Christmas Carol,” which will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the BV Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available by calling (605) 582-8235. Under the direction of Mel Sittig, this classic Charles Dickens story is intentionally performed every three years to showcase the continual lineup of BVHS talent. “A Christmas Carol” follows miser Ebeneezer Scrooge (played by Garrison Trunkenmiller) as he’s visited by ghosts who remind him of what it means to be a good person, leading him to embrace the spirit of Christmas.
