Matt and Kristine Wiersma, of Valley Springs, are happy to announce the birth of their second child, Kolten Lee. He was born Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches in length.

He joins a brother, Chet, 3.

Grandparents are Paul and Brenda Scott, Valley Springs, and Bob and Gail Wiersma, Brandon. Great-grandparents are Pauline and Mike Scott, Valley Springs, and his great-great-grandmother is Elsie Metz of Brandon.
